BIO

Chris Dufour is a Senior Advisor to FLG, specializing in technology, security, and data. Chris’ career spans over 20 years and includes policy analysis, communications, cyber, social media, and National Security experience in the Defense, Intelligence, and private sector security communities.

Prior to joining FLG, Chris served as a technology leader with BlackHorse Solutions and White Canvas Group, where he helped develop advanced cyber and open source intelligence solutions.  Before that, he held several senior positions in the Department of Defense, including a founding role with the Army’s IED Task Force and its superseding joint agencies.  He also served with the DoD Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO), where he led technology development initiatives in the fields of irregular warfare, information and influence, and special programs.

Chris is a recognized expert in emerging technology and provides clients with advisory support in digital privacy, disinformation, supply chain issues, and U.S. innovation and competition.  He also provides training in private security threat intelligence, ethical OSINT, and technology development.

EDUCATION

Chris received his B.A. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and his M.A. in Government from the Johns Hopkins University.
